One of the most representative ingredients in Italian cuisine is pomodoro, which means "tomato" in Italian. The village of San Marzano is located in the Sanruri River basin at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, and is said to be the birthplace of tomatoes.

Italian cuisine uses a wide variety of equipment and tools. For example, pasta, which can be said to be the star of Italian cuisine, can be divided into dried and fresh pasta, and the way to use the pasta machine to make fresh pasta is particularly unique.
