Autumn General Course

Aim to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Level N3 and the Specified Skills Assessment Test in one year

  • *Tuition should be paid within one week after the issuance of the COE.
  • *The original COE will be sent by mail after the tuition payment has been confirmed.

Eligibility

Those who meet any of the following criteria:

  1. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have completed 12 years of regular school education in their own country.
  2. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have completed a course of study that qualifies them for admission to a higher education institution in their home country.

*A simple test will be conducted at the time of application to check basic academic ability and level. For the Spring Preparatory Course, we will check whether you are equivalent to N3, and for the Autumn General Course, we will check whether you are equivalent to N4.

Application Procedures
A) Documents to be submitted by the applicant
  1. Application for admission (Forms A, B-1, 2, 3) *Handwritten by the applicant
  2. Original copy of graduation certificate (completion certificate) or diploma (completion certificate) from final educational background *If you are currently a student, please submit a student registration certificate
  3. Three photographs (3cm x 4cm) (taken within the last three months, one to be attached to the application form)
  4. Copy of family register

*Please prepare the following documents as they may be required.

  • Occupation certificate (certificate of employment from your employer) (if you have work experience)
  • Copy of passport (only for passport holders. However, if you have visited Japan before, please be sure to attach a copy of the visa page)
  • Documents proving Japanese language proficiency (only for holders. Example: Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, JLPT exam result notice and report, Japanese language learning certificate)
b) Documents to be submitted by financial sponsor
A If your sponsor is outside of Japan (if remittance is sent from your home country)
  1. Expenses Payment Form to the Minister of Justice (designated form) *Must be written by the financial sponsor in his/her own hand and stamped with his/her official seal
  2. Certificate of employment *Business certificate for self-employed persons
  3. Official documents verifying the relationship between the applicant and the financial sponsor (e.g. family register, parent-child relationship certificate, birth certificate, family relationship certificate, etc.)
  4. Tax payment certificate (including income or tax amount for the past three years)
  5. Proof of bank balance in the name of the financial sponsor (in Japanese Yen or US Dollars)
B If your financial sponsor is in Japan
  1. Expenses Payment Form to the Minister of Justice (designated form) *Must be written by the financial sponsor in his/her own hand and stamped with his/her official seal
  2. Certificate of employment or business
  3. Resident tax certificate or tax payment certificate
  4. Resident registration card (for all members of the same household) or Alien Registration Certificate (if the sponsor is a foreign resident of Japan)
  5. Official documents verifying the relationship between the applicant and the financial sponsor (e.g. family register, parent-child relationship certificate, birth certificate, family relationship certificate, etc.)
  6. Deposit balance certificate
C. If the applicant is the financial sponsor
  1. Applicant's bank statement (in Japanese Yen or US Dollars)
  2. Documents to prove your annual income

〔remarks〕

  • Required documents vary depending on the individual, so you may be asked to submit additional documents.
  • The documents must be accompanied by a Japanese translation.
  • As a general rule, the above documents issued by schools and public institutions must have been issued within three months of the date of application.
  • When applying for a Certificate of Eligibility, you may be required to submit a "Certificate of Fund Formation Process" from your financial supporter, a "Certificate of Income" and "Documents Explaining Your Future Career Plan."
C) Selection fee

20,000 yen (same for A, B, and C)

An invoice for the selection fee will be sent to you after the issuance of the Certificate of Eligibility. Please pay by the deadline.

Selection Method

After reviewing the submitted documents, we will conduct an interview and a written test for the applicant. If necessary, we will also conduct an interview with the financial sponsor.

Notification of acceptance

If you pass our screening, we will submit all necessary documents to the Immigration Bureau and begin the application process for the Certificate of Eligibility. The results of the screening will be sent to the sponsor.
Please note that it will take approximately 2 to 3 months after the application deadline for the Immigration Bureau to issue the results of its examination.

Enrolment Procedures and Visa Acquisition

① After receiving the notification of issuance of the "Certificate of Eligibility", please pay your tuition fees by the specified due date.
*After confirming your payment, we will give you the original "Certificate of Eligibility".

② The applicant must prepare the following items and go to the nearest Japanese diplomatic mission to apply for a student visa.

  • 2 Photos

③Once your planned date of arrival in Japan is confirmed, please email your flight ticket receipt to our school.

※なお、「在留資格認定証明書」は、申請してから交付までに、およそ2〜3ヶ月を要します。
したがって、合格後から来日までは、およそ4〜5ヶ月を要するとお考えください。
