Make friends and talk a lot. Everyone is cheerful and lively, so it's fun to talk to them and you can study together.

I love running because I was a short-distance runner in the track and field club in junior high and high school. I also watch soccer, basketball, and volleyball.

Yuki Kayanuma David

Department of Sports Trainer
Athletic Trainer Course

Alma mater: Kanagawa Prefectural Hodogaya High School

Q: What are the key points to enjoying school life?

Make lots of friends. I think it's good to be able to switch on and off and make sure you do what you want to do until the end.

Q: What is your favorite sport?

I was in the track and field club from elementary school to high school, specializing in the 400-800m middle distance. I also like martial arts, as I studied karate until the third year of junior high school.

  • 6:30

    wake up

  • 7:30

    departure

  • 8:50

    Going to school

It takes about an hour to get to school from my house, and I listen to music for the 30 minutes I'm on the train.

  • 9:00

    class

This class teaches how to create rehabilitation schedules and training menus for injured athletes. Students also learn how to provide instruction that is easy to understand.

  • 11:50

    lunch break

I buy lunch at a convenience store, but there are many restaurants nearby, so when I have time, I sometimes go out to eat with friends.

  • 13:00

    class

I like the practical training the most. In order to teach the correct form, I have to be able to do it myself first, so my body got bigger as I trained.

  • 14:50

    class

"Functional anatomy" is essential knowledge for a trainer. If you don't understand the structure of muscles and bones, you can't provide training guidance, so I'm studying it as hard as I can.

    part-time job

I work part-time at a fitness club three days a week.

  • 22:30
