Tsuji Gakuen is Japan's first culinary training school. Founded in 1917, it celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2017. Since its founding, it has led the culinary world as a pioneer in specialized food education and the creation of food culture.

There are departments where beginners can learn the basics of both cooking and confectionery and graduate in one year. This is because there is a lot of cooking practice time, allowing you to improve your skills dramatically. A one-year Department of Chef requires more than 300 hours, and Department of Pastry Chef requires more than 420 hours! Of course, there are also two-year departments for those who want to learn more about specialized fields.
In addition, students who are expected to graduate can enroll in other departments without taking an exam through internal recommendations. You can learn carefully from teachers who are top chefs active on the international stage, at academic conferences, on television and in magazines, so you can acquire a wide range of skills and aim to become a "food" specialist!

We have prepared high-quality environments, including practice rooms for each genre of cuisine: Japanese, Western, Chinese, confectionery, and bread. We also have a full-scale salon for learning restaurant service. There is a stylish cafe on the first floor of the school building where you can also do store training.

Our school has an application agent who will provide thorough support with visa applications and renewals.
In addition, teachers are available to help with any worries you may have about classes, practical training, daily life, etc. You can quickly become friends with your Japanese teachers and friends because you will also spend time together at events and other activities!
