Types and benefits of scholarships for international students
- SS scholarship student
- 500,000 yen exemption
- S scholarship student
- 300,000 yen exemption
- A scholarship student
- 200,000 yen exemption
- B scholarship student
- 100,000 yen exemption
- C scholarship student
- 50,000 yen exemption
- *There is no obligation to return the money (except for dropouts).
- *The above amount is the exemption amount for one year. When you advance to the next grade, the exemption amount will be reviewed again.
| Eligibility to apply |
- Be 18 years of age or older (as of March 31, 2015).
- Those who have completed 12 years or more of formal school education in Japan or a foreign country, or those who are equivalent to this and designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
- Those who can recommend themselves in terms of sports, hobbies, volunteer activities, studies, work experience, etc.
<Meet one of the following conditions>
- Those who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (level N2 or above) administered by the Japan International Education Association and the Japan Foundation.
- Those who have a score of 200 or more on the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (Japanese language).
- Those who score 400 or above on the BJT Business Japanese Test.
- Those who have been enrolled for more than six months at an educational institution (Japanese language education institution) that provides Japanese language instruction to foreigners and is designated by the Minister of Justice through a public notice, and have an attendance rate of 80% or higher by the time of enrollment.

保証人は日本在住の方に限ります。

| Eligibility to apply |
- Be 18 years of age or older (as of March 31, 2015).
- Those who have completed 12 years or more of formal school education in Japan or a foreign country, or those who are equivalent to this and designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
<Meet one of the following conditions>
