Regarding applications for those wishing to take the Japan Sports Association Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) Theory Examination in 2026
To all graduates of Department of Athletic Trainer and Athletic Trainer Course
Dear AT Department and AT Course Graduates,
We are pleased to hear that you are doing well in all areas.
Well, I recently received information about the entrance exam from the Japan Sports Association.
If you wish to take the exam this year, please check the information below, register on your instructor's personal page, apply for the exam, and submit the necessary documents.
The deadline is approaching, so we need your prompt attention. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please check the details below and then apply for the exam and send the necessary documents.
Furthermore, starting last year, we have switched from a mark-sheet-based exam to a computer-based testing (CBT) format.
The exam period is set, and you can take the exam by reserving the exam date and venue within that period. We would appreciate it if you could check the exam guidelines we have sent you.
• Exam dates: October 8th (Thu) - November 5th (Thu)

■ Implementation matters
① Create an account with the Japan Sports Association (MyJSPO) (coach's personal page) *Only for those who do not yet have an account.
Please refer to the attached document, "Application, Payment, and Venue Reservation Manual.pdf," for instructions on how to apply.
② Report account creation to the school representative (Uehara) via email.
To apply for the exam, you will need an authentication code assigned to your school.
We will send an authentication code to the email address you provided.
If you already have an account, please send an email indicating your interest in taking the exam.
③ Application deadline for the certification exam: August 20th (Thursday)
Please refer to the attached document, "Application, Payment, and Venue Reservation Manual.pdf," for instructions on how to apply.
④ Submit the required documents to the school representative (Uehara). Deadline: Must arrive by August 20th (Thursday).
Please send it by email or postal mail.
The required documents are the following three items.
◆ Copy of BLS certification (Please send both sides.)
Please refer to the attached document, "Regarding Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.pdf".
◆ Copy of Completion Certificate (General and Specialized) *Only for those who graduated in or before the 2024 academic year.
Two sheets in total (to fit on one A4-sized sheet).
◆ Instructor My Page Registration Number (MyJSPO No. (Registration Number))
Please send us your 9-digit MyJSPO No.
Please log in to your My Page; the information is listed on the registrant information page.
⑤ After approval, pay the exam fee via MyJSPO. Payment period: Scheduled from the first week of September to September 16th (Wednesday)
Examination fee: 22,000 yen (Basic and Advanced: 11,000 yen each)
⑥ After payment, make a venue reservation. Reservation period: September 17th (Thu) - October 1st (Thu)
