Scholarship Admissions System

The scholarship admission system provides financial support for students who excel academically and as models for our school.
Sanko Gakuen has five types of scholarships, and if you pass the selection process and are accepted as a scholarship student, part of your tuition fees will be waived.

This is Sanko Gakuen's unique tuition support system that utilizes the Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship System (100,000 yen or more).

The only cost required for enrollment is an admission fee of 100,000 yen.
After that, you will be required to pay the "teaching materials, practical training fees and other fees" by the end of March.
Tuition fees and facility fees can be paid in monthly installments of 100,000 yen during your time at university using a loan scholarship.

  • *Cannot be used in conjunction with Sanko Gakuen Grant Scholarship & Tuition Payment System.

Prior to enrolling in our school, the student was selected as a candidate for the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) scholarship based on the following criteria:

"Type 2 Scholarship (interest-bearing)" of 100,000 yen or more per month
  • *If you have already applied for a "Type 2 Scholarship (with interest)" of 20,000 to 90,000 yen, you can take advantage of Sanko Gakuen's initial cost reduction and tuition installment system by changing the monthly loan amount to 100,000 yen or more when you submit your enrollment notification after enrolling at our school.
A combination of "Type 1 Scholarship (interest-free)" and "Type 2 Scholarship (interest-bearing)" totaling more than 100,000 yen per month
  • *Those who have graduated from high school or other such school within the past two years are eligible to apply for a reservation through the school they graduated from.
How to apply

Apply for a reserved scholarship from the Japan Student Services Organization at the high school or other institution where you are currently (or were) enrolled. (Please consult with the teacher in charge of scholarships at your high school or other institution.)

Please fill in the necessary information in the "Sanko GAKUEN Initial Cost Reduction & Tuition Installment System" application section and enclose a copy of the "Notice of Selection of Candidate" from the Japan Student Services Organization with your application.

  • *If you are currently applying for employment, please submit a copy of the "Notice of Selection as a Candidate" as soon as you are notified of the results.

Sanko Gakuen Grant Scholarship & Tuition Payment System

For those who wish to utilize the "grant scholarship" and "tuition reduction" systems and make payments after enrollment using the grant scholarship

  • *The amount of support provided under the new higher education support system varies depending on household income and whether the student commutes to school from home or away from home.

This is Sanko Gakuen's unique tuition support system that utilizes the Japan Student Services Organization's "grant scholarship" and "tuition reduction" systems.
The only fee required for enrollment is the enrollment fee of 100,000 yen. After that, you will be required to pay the course materials and other fees by the end of March.
Tuition fees + facility fees can be paid during your time at the university after you have applied for "grant scholarships" and "tuition fee reductions" after enrolling.

  • *The 100,000 yen admission fee paid at the time of enrollment will be transferred to part of the tuition fees after the tuition reduction amount has been determined.
  • *Cannot be used in conjunction with Sanko Gakuen initial cost reduction and tuition installment system.
  • *Depending on the category of your selection, you may be able to pay the difference with a Type 2 Loan Scholarship etc.
  • *If you decline enrollment for any reason, the admission fee of 100,000 yen paid at the time of enrollment will not be refunded.

  • *If you are currently applying for employment, please submit a copy of the "Notice of Selection as a Candidate" as soon as you are notified of the results.

Scholarships from associations, foundations, companies, and the government

This is a system that provides scholarships to students who are having difficulty studying due to financial reasons. Here are some examples. Income requirements and loan amounts vary depending on the type of school you are attending. For more information, please contact each institution.

This service is aimed at students who have difficulty paying tuition fees in one lump sum, and allows them to pay tuition fees in monthly installments. Payment of tuition fees is guaranteed even if a payment is delayed.

There are many scholarship programs set up by municipalities for people living in their area. Here are some of them. Scholarship conditions vary depending on the municipality, so please contact your local municipality for more information.

Scholarship for students living alone

The Single Living Scholarship Program is a scholarship program for students who live alone and want to focus on their studies.

Dormitory scholarship system
<For those who wish to live alone in a dormitory>

This is a system that provides a partial exemption from dormitory fees to students who wish to live in the student dormitory with meals provided, and who, after a selection process, are found to be able to behave in an exemplary manner as a dormitory resident.

Eligibility to take the exam

This offer is limited to those taking the AO Scholarship Examination (Schedule A) in September.

Student Apartment Scholarship Program
For those looking for a student apartment to live alone

This is a system in which individuals who wish to live in student apartments affiliated with our school and who, after a selection process, are found to be able to behave in an exemplary manner as students will be exempt from the deposit, key money, brokerage fees, etc. (which vary depending on the property) upon moving in.

This offer is limited to those taking the AO Scholarship Examination (Schedule A) in September.

Support system from Marea Create Co., Ltd.

Marea Diving Scholarship Program (for those who have already applied for the Scuba Diving course)

This is a system in which Marea Create Co., Ltd. will grant 300,000 yen per year for two years (total of 600,000 yen) to those who enroll in Sanko Gakuen's scuba diving course.

Up to 150,000 yen discount on diving equipment (for all applicants for the applicable course)

All applicants for the Sanko Gakuen Scuba Diving course will receive a discount of up to 150,000 yen on the cost of diving equipment sold by Marea Create Co., Ltd.

  • *Marea Create Co., Ltd. is a member of the Sanko Group and operates 12 diving schools and shops nationwide.

Sanko Gakuen Family Scholarship Program

This is a unique system of our university that provides a grant of 50,000 yen after enrollment if a relative within the second degree of kinship is a Sanko Gakuen graduate *1.

National Education Loan (Japan Finance Corporation)

The "National Education Loan" is a long-term, fixed-interest education loan offered by the Japan Finance Corporation, a government-affiliated financial institution.

Affiliated Education Loan

(This is a system that can be used with relaxed eligibility requirements and simple procedures.)
Sanko Gakuen has an educational loan contract with a credit company, so you can apply for the tuition fees you need to enroll with a simple procedure.
