Message from the Principal

辻学園調理・製菓専門学校 校長 下畠 照正

"Food is the source of life"

Recently, we hear a lot of people saying things like, "I don't know what I should do," or "I don't know what kind of job I should get." Why is that? One possible reason is that many young people give up on their "dreams."

The purpose of studying at school is to make students think about the meaning of work and to foster their dreams and beliefs about what they really want to do and who they want to be in the future. To make dreams a reality, it is important to like the field you are studying and to connect that to your abilities.

We believe that the school's true mission is to motivate as many young people as possible by providing them with a better educational environment and opportunities, nurturing their interests, while at the same time teaching them the importance of persistent effort and nurturing them into members of society with the ability to live.

Tsuji Gakuen supports students so that they can find their own direction towards their dreams, speak in their own words, and take action. Many of the experts who have studied at Tsuji Gakuen, which has always looked ahead to the future, teach at the school, and while actively incorporating social trends and the needs of the industry, they discover each individual's aptitude and develop "working adults" with a wide range of specialized skills, knowledge, and sensibilities to become food professionals, making it an extremely favorable environment for those who want to enter the food field.

I will carry on the education and culture of Tsuji Gakuen and will continue to provide education and guidance with the aim of nurturing excellent human resources for the next generation with great joy and pride, while at the same time sincerely hoping to contribute to a society in which everyone can enjoy high-quality meals.
