Eligibility to apply

AO scholarship admission/AO admission
  • Those who have completed 12 years or more of formal school education in Japan or a foreign country, or those designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as being equivalent to this. (※1)
  • Students who have this school as their first choice.
  • Those who sympathize with and aspire to our school's admissions policy.
  • Applicants whose Japanese language ability is deemed to be sufficient for studying at our school.
  • For those enrolled in a Japanese language school, those who have an attendance rate of 80% or more at the time of graduation. (After passing, submit a certificate before enrollment)

<Meet one of the following conditions>

  • Those who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or above administered by the Japan International Education Association and the Japan Foundation.
  • Those who have obtained 200 points or more in the Japanese language section of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) (※2)
  • Those who have obtained 400 points or more on the BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test.
  • Those who have received Japanese language education for six months or more at an educational institution in Japan that provides Japanese language education to foreigners (Japanese language education institution) and is designated by the Minister of Justice in a public notice.
  • Those who have completed at least one year of education in a Japanese elementary, junior high or high school.
Tuition reduction and exemption for international students
  • Those who have completed 12 years or more of formal school education in Japan or a foreign country, or those designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as being equivalent to this. (※1)
  • Applicants whose Japanese language ability is deemed to be sufficient for studying at our school.
  • Those who can recommend themselves in terms of sports, hobbies, volunteer activities, studies, work experience, etc.
  • For students enrolled in a Japanese language school, their attendance rate at the time of graduation must be 80% or more.

<Meet one of the following conditions>

  • Those who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or above administered by the Japan International Education Association and the Japan Foundation.

    This document proves that you can pay tuition fees and other expenses.

  • If you have difficulty submitting any of the documents at the time of application, please contact our school. Please attach a Japanese translation of the documents from overseas financial institutions. If you are unable to prove your financial support, you may be asked to submit additional documents.

Selection Process

AO Scholarship Admission (Comprehensive Selection) / AO Admission (Comprehensive Selection)

Even for AO admission applicants, we will hold a Japanese language written test if it is deemed necessary. If you are not selected for AO scholarship admission, you will be given priority admission as an "AO admission", so you will not need to take the test again.
Tuition exemption for international students and general admission

Written Exam Exemption

Those who wish to enroll in the general admission program and who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or above, obtained 200 points or more in the Japanese language subject of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) (scores are valid for 2 years), or obtained 400 points or more on the BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test, will be exempt from the written exam upon submission of a certificate.

Those who are selected for the tuition fee reduction admission for international students must take the written test. If you are not selected as a scholarship student for the tuition fee reduction admission for international students, you will be reselected as a "general admission applicant," so in principle you do not need to take the test again.
The Japanese written test is at N2 and N3 levels. We cannot answer any inquiries regarding the results.

How to submit your application

Please send it by registered mail or bring it directly to our school.

Selection fee

  • Whether you submit your application by mail or in person, you must transfer the application fee in advance. Transfer the application fee in your name using the designated transfer form or an ATM, and attach the "Transfer Certificate" (or an original or copy of the "Transfer Statement" if you transfer via ATM) to the back of the application.
  • The application fee is non-refundable after the application has been accepted.
  • If you are sending your application by mail, please place your application documents in the application envelope provided by our school or an envelope of your own choosing, and send it by registered mail from the post office so that it arrives within the application period.
  • If you are sending money from outside Japan, any fees will be borne by the sender.

    1. Be recommended by your school
    2. The applicant must have a "Student" visa and must not be a government-sponsored international student or a student sponsored by a foreign government.
    3. Students must have a grade point average of 2.30 or higher in the academic year prior to the year in which they will receive the scholarship, and are expected to maintain this level during the scholarship period.
    4. The average monthly remittance amount is 90,000 yen or less
    5. If you have a dependent living in Japan, their annual income must be less than 5 million yen.
    6. After receiving the grant, you will be able to cooperate with the organization's career status survey conducted through your school etc.
How to apply

This is done through the school in which the student is enrolled (①, ②). Applicants fill out application documents and submit them to their school (③), and the school then recommends them to JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization) (④).

Result notification

Once the selection process is complete (⑤), the school will notify you of the results (⑥).
