Student x Local Community & Corporate Collaboration

In projects where students commercialize their ideas, they can learn about the process of product development through repeated discussions and prototyping with friends and teachers. In addition, participating in local events can help students grow through social interaction.

Food truck demonstration and sales at Shinjuku Takashimaya

With the cooperation of companies, our students utilized their on-campus learning to conduct off-campus sales using a full-fledged food truck. They also worked on attracting customers and promoting sales using social media, as well as developing and demonstrating trendy menu items.

Menu development undertaken with the support of the embassy.

As the first vocational school in Japan to receive support from the Italian Embassy's Trade Promotion Office, our school collaborated with Miki International Co., Ltd. We devised menus that evoke the regional cuisine of various Italian provinces, offered them at our on-campus restaurant, and presented them to the embassy and companies, thereby spreading the appeal of the ingredients. We were able to utilize what we learned at school to enrich dinner tables with Italian cuisine during a rice shortage!

Development, commercialization, and presentation of seasonal winter dessert menus.

We learned about product development methods from Welcome Co., Ltd., which operates nationwide, primarily with its flagship brand "DEAN & DELUCA." We gave presentations in teams, and the selected products were added to the menu at their store "TWELVE GARDENS" in Akasaka!

Family EXPO

In cooperation with a sister school, we held a "Family EXPO" event for local parents and children. We offered icing cookie making that parents and children could enjoy together, as well as special drinks for a short break, and it was a huge success.

Kobeya Co., Ltd.

After receiving training from a baker at the school's own store on bread-making methods that can be used after employment, students have the opportunity to demonstrate and sell their bread at the school's store.
