Support for practical training

Before the internship
1

Thorough practical guidance within the classroom

You'll learn proper internship etiquette and how to write your daily log. You can also ask your instructors questions directly, which will help alleviate any anxieties you may have before your internship.

2

Check the facility where you would like to do your internship.

You can find out what kind of nursery school, kindergarten, or facility your internship will be during class, as it will be explained to you then.

3

Decision on desired internship site and internship request

They will handle all the requests and procedures for you to be able to do internships at your preferred nursery school, kindergarten, certified childcare center, or child welfare facility.

4

Final check during the internship guidance session.

By conducting a final check before the internship, you can approach the internship with confidence.

During the internship
1

Internship begins

Students will apply what they've learned on campus to gain practical experience in the field, thereby developing their skills.

2

Instructor visits to the practical training sites

A teacher from your school will visit your internship site regularly. You can talk to your teacher about any worries or anxieties you have during your internship.

After the internship

The group reflected on the practical training, confirmed their views on childcare, and prepared for the next session.

We will reflect on our own internship experiences and present them in groups. We will also listen to our classmates' internship experiences and, through discussion, be exposed to diverse values in childcare, which we will use to improve our next internship.
