  • Learning Point 01

    You can obtain qualifications as a nursery school teacher or kindergarten teacher in just two years!

    The school building houses a childcare facility called "Pocket Land" and "Tokyo Mirai University Mirai Free School," which supports children who are struggling with school refusal or developmental issues. Students can observe the children and get a feel for the atmosphere while attending daily classes.

    Sanko Gakuen operates licensed and certified daycare centers within our school building. We value accepting and empathizing with each child's feelings and providing support accordingly. Students can interact with the children during classes and observe daycare activities such as walks and water play up close.

    Tokyo Future University Mirai Free School

    Mirai Free School is a school that develops students who are unable to keep up with their studies, are not good at group activities, or want to regain their sense of self, and are unable to adapt to school life for various reasons, by helping them to reexamine themselves, have pride, and have the courage to adapt to society after graduation. Since it is in the same school building, it is also possible to work part-time.

    From many training sites,
    You can choose your preferred internship location!

    We have already sent out many trainees, including from sister schools, so we have strong ties with the kindergarten and a wealth of training sites.
    A major feature of our school is that you can choose your desired internship location, such as "I want to do my internship at the nursery school or kindergarten I graduated from!" or "I want to do my internship at a nursery school with a small number of students!"

    Even piano beginners​ ​can feel at ease!
    Learn from the basics​!

    Approximately half of our students are piano beginners. We assign pieces tailored to each student's level and provide instruction in small groups.
    Each student has their own piano, allowing them to build a solid foundation. The small class sizes allow students to develop to a level where they can apply their skills in childcare settings during their time at the school. Students can also practice independently in the piano practice room before classes and after school.

    Teachers provide individual, thorough instruction during class, helping students gain a firm grasp of the basics.
    Depending on how hard you work, you'll be able to play more and more songs!

    With support from multiple teachers, you can feel secure throughout your school life, internships, and job search!

Both departments offer comprehensive support!
Choose a learning style that suits you.

Department of Nursery is a cost-effective and short-term program. Department of Integrated Childcare Studies offers a bit more flexibility in terms of time, allowing you to choose a course in your third year to develop your strengths. Both courses share a common curriculum and offer comprehensive support for learning, including piano lessons, as well as job placement assistance, so please choose the course that suits you best.

If you choose the nursery teacher/kindergarten teacher course,
Upon graduation, you will not only receive a childcare worker qualification, but also a childcare worker qualification and a second-class kindergarten teacher license, which will broaden your employment opportunities.
