I attended a school for craftsmanship, but through part-time work at an after-school program and volunteering at a free school, I began to think that I wanted to work in a job that involved working with children. I was a little worried because I was going back to school from a completely different field, but thanks to the cheerful atmosphere of my teachers and classmates, I was able to approach my studies and job hunting in a positive way, and I am now enjoying my student life while aiming to obtain a childcare worker qualification.

Returning to school
The deciding factor for me to go back to school was that I was attracted to the fact that it is a vocational school with strong ties to various companies, and I thought that if I studied again here, it would increase my chances of getting the job I wanted. I also found out that I could apply for a scholarship admission system that would exempt part of the tuition fees, so before enrolling, I participated in an event held at the school and organized my thoughts about wanting to go back to school and the manners I should keep in mind during the interview, before taking the exam and was able to pass the scholarship.

Returning to school
My motivation for going back to school was to do a job that would benefit people and acquire a skill. I currently work as a caregiver, mainly helping with excretion, meals, and bathing for the elderly.
I think the most useful thing I learned in the field was the basic concepts of nursing care and how to provide assistance. I think what I learned at school will be useful in my future work.

I'm nervous about mixing with high school students.
I want to go there in between work and other plans.
For those who are thinking like this...
Because this is an important career choice, we want students to come and see what the school is like, and so Sanko Gakuen holds open campuses and individual consultation sessions for students returning to school.
Individual arrangements are possible.
I can't concentrate when there are a lot of high school students around...
For those with such concerns, we will provide a completely private room.
