I participated in the Emperor's Cup, a match management volunteer event that decides Japan's best, where professional soccer teams and prefectural representative soccer teams participate! On the day, I worked as a ball boy, VIP receptionist, and guided the players, experiencing the sense of realism that can only be experienced at a professional venue, and gaining valuable experience that can only be had on the spot.

I got to experience a professional match up close amongst many visitors! I was able to support an exciting match and experience the excitement of being on the field, and after the volunteering was over, I felt a sense of accomplishment in creating something together. I also have various other connections with the Hiroshima Dragonflies, such as internships at related facilities and part-time jobs.

Knowledge and skills that can only be obtained on-site at a rugby match! Hiroshima Resort & Sports College has a partnership with the professional rugby team Red Legions (Chugoku Electric Power Rugby Club). You will learn from on-site trainers about how to manage a top sports team, such as practices, tournament day management, and accompanying trainers, as well as the role of trainers. Rugby is known to have the highest number of injuries during matches among all sports. This leads to the sense of realism that can only be felt on-site, and the acquisition of real-time knowledge and skills.

It is an opportunity to learn a variety of things that will be useful when you go out into the field, such as how to use the machines properly and how to teach them, as well as the interpersonal skills and importance of hospitality required when interacting with customers.
