Three-way support

At Tokyo Future University of Welfare & Nursery College, we have a support system in place where multiple faculty and staff members monitor and support the growth of each individual student.
Each student receives comprehensive support from their homeroom teacher, course instructors, and career counselors specializing in their desired companies and job types! Faculty and staff maintain close communication and share information at all times.
Because the faculty and staff understand you on a regular basis, they can give you accurate advice on how to write your self-introduction statement and practice for interviews during your job search.

An environment with a school counselor

Not only faculty and staff, but also professional counselors support students. There is an environment where students can talk about anything, including problems with school life and friendships.

For those aiming to become childcare workers or kindergarten teachers: You can acquire qualifications at your own pace!

Those aiming to become childcare workers or kindergarten teachers can choose to study at a pace of either a two-year or three-year program.
Those who want to enter the workforce sooner can choose the two-year Department of Nursery, while the three-year program offers a three-day-a-week attendance option.

Applicable to all departments: Participate in classes online!

Even if you can't attend class in person, some lessons, such as lectures, can be taken online in a separate classroom. You won't fall behind in your studies, so there's no need to worry.

If you're unsure what you want to do, Department of General Career Design is highly recommended.

If you're thinking about your future after high school and wondering, "What do I really want to do?", then let's find the right path for you in Department of General Career Design (1-year program)!
We'll help you broaden your horizons by exploring various fields and professions both inside and outside of school, and help you discover what you want to do and what you're good at. After graduation, if you enroll in one of Sanko Gakuen's sister schools, which offers education in a wide range of professions, you can receive a significant reduction in tuition fees through the "Stage Up System."

Week 1-2

Anxiety before enrollment and what it was like after actually enrolling

Before starting school, I was worried about whether I could manage a schedule that involved attending classes five days a week. I was also anxious about whether I would be able to adapt to the school's atmosphere and keep up with the pace of the lessons, and I often wondered if I would be okay.
But once I actually enrolled, the teachers were very kind and spoke to me warmly, and I gradually started talking to my classmates, so I was able to adjust to school naturally. Attending school five days a week has been easier than I thought, and I'm relieved about that. Now I often feel that I made the right choice in choosing this school.

What I've experienced firsthand regarding the support from teachers and the school's system

Since enrolling, I've found it reassuring that my homeroom teacher is always attentive and checks on me. There's an atmosphere where I can easily talk to them if I have any problems.
Since I attend school five days a week, it's easier to interact with friends, and my daily routine has become more stable. Having a school counselor is also reassuring and provides emotional support.

How to spend weekdays when there are no classes or on days with fewer classes.

In my free time, I work part-time or study for assignments and qualifications. On days with fewer classes, I try not to overdo it and make time to rest at my own pace to maintain a good balance.
I also make sure to have time to relax and unwind, like going out to eat with friends.

A message to high school students who are unsure about which school to choose.

When choosing a school, I think the most important thing is to choose a place where you feel you can attend with peace of mind!
Visiting in person to get a feel for the atmosphere and observing the teachers and students will help you get a better idea of what it's like. You might feel overwhelmed, but take your time and choose at your own pace!
I also make sure to have time to relax and unwind, like going out to eat with friends.

Anxiety before enrollment and what it was like after actually enrolling

I was worried about whether I would be able to build new relationships in a new environment, but I was able to become friends with my classmates during the freshman orientation (startup program) held shortly after enrollment, which made a huge difference and dispelled all my worries.

What I've experienced firsthand regarding the support from teachers and the school's system

Because classes are small and there's a team-based teaching system, students can consult with and ask questions of multiple teachers depending on the content and situation, and they feel secure knowing that various teachers are looking out for them. The support is very thorough.
In my job search, in addition to my homeroom teacher, I have a dedicated teacher in charge of job placement, and these two teachers work together to support me throughout the process. I get to talk to them about my progress in detail every day!

How to spend weekdays when there are no classes or on days with fewer classes.

I usually stay at school until the final dismissal time after classes to work on assignments, practice practical skills, or chat with friends, but I also sometimes work part-time jobs or dedicate time to my hobbies.

A message to high school students who are unsure about which school to choose.

Take your time and go at your own pace; there's no need to rush! Try choosing the path that excites you♪
