This job allows me to support the health of my customers and bring smiles to their faces.

With health as the theme, I try and error every day to help my customers realize what they have given up on and what they want to achieve. I wanted to do a job that would make customers smile, so when they say "thank you," it gives me the power to try harder.

Manages the condition of players for J-League's top teams.

As the physical coach for Cerezo Osaka, I manage the condition of the players. I support their training and rehabilitation while communicating with the technical and medical staff. When the team wins, it's the best feeling because it's the result of everyone's daily efforts and professional work.

I am in charge of exercise instruction at the fitness club.

It's rewarding to see customers' gratitude and joy.

As a fitness trainer, I was in charge of providing exercise instruction to customers, studio programs, personal training, and managing store operations. When I hear comments from customers like, "Your lessons are invigorating and make me want to work hard at my exercise," I feel that this job is rewarding.

Sports Business & Wellness Department

We are confident that our customers will have an enjoyable shopping experience.

I work as a salesperson at a sports apparel store that sells its own brands, such as The North Face and Helly Hansen. At first, I didn't have much product knowledge and I couldn't serve customers well. As I gradually gained experience, I felt happy when I saw customers enjoying their shopping experience, which helped me gain confidence.

After graduating, I worked as an AT&SC (Assistant Driver and Service Provider) in a university club.

Runa Nakayama

Employed by the Doshisha University American Football Club
Department of Athletic Trainer
Graduation in 2025

I've worked in various settings, including as a trainer for university American football teams and track and field competitions and games, as a safety assistant for high school rugby teams, and as a personal trainer in a studio. Currently, I'm working with an American football team, and I find it rewarding when injured players score touchdowns or when players I've been practicing with after practice happily tell me they feel faster.

It's rewarding to use my knowledge to help customers.

When customers ask me questions about hotels and the local area, I feel happy to be able to use my knowledge to answer their questions. I learned about the tourism business through a long-term corporate internship during my student days, and that experience is still relevant to my current job.

The joy of training
I will convey the fun.

Takaya Oyama

I work as a freelance personal trainer. It's most rewarding when I can see firsthand the changes in my clients' bodies and their mental health as a result of training. I feel that the knowledge, know-how, nutrition, and communication skills I learned in Resort&Sports College classes are all useful in my current job. In the future, I want to open my own gym and share the fun and excitement of training with many people.

Megumi Hirayama

Worked at Factory Japan Group's Body Factory

I treat customers as a chiropractor. There are various courses other than chiropractic, so I will propose what is best for each person while understanding the customer's wishes and physical condition. I enjoy working with customers to aim for improvement. After treatment, I often hear people say "I feel refreshed!" or "Thank you," which makes it rewarding. I would like to improve my skills even more for the sake of my repeat customers.

Through exercise instruction
Support your child's growth!

Kohei Tanikawa

I teach a wide range of sports, including mat exercises, vaulting boxes, swimming, and soccer. It's a constant challenge for the children, but when I see them getting better little by little and getting excited, I feel as happy as if it were my own achievement. I want to teach them good manners through sports while experiencing the joy of physical activity together.
