To those who wish to return to school

We promise to provide full support for students who wish to return to higher education.

A vocational school is not just something you can enroll in immediately after graduating from high school.
Working adults, part-time workers, university students, junior college students, etc.
Anyone over the age of 18 can learn even if they have no experience and achieve their dream job.

Why not study alongside the many seniors who have returned to school for a variety of reasons, such as "I've found my dream," "It was always my dream," "I want to change my career," or "I want to acquire skills," and turn your passion into a job?

For beauty departments

Up to 1.28 million yen will be paid! Education and Training Benefit System for those with work experience

This system provides a certain percentage of the training expenses paid to students who take specialized practical training courses designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare. Our beauty school's cosmetology department has been nationally certified as a designated course, and up to 50% of tuition fees (up to 400,000 yen per year) are reimbursed during the course. Furthermore, if students acquire a predetermined qualification and are employed as a general insured person within one year of completing the course, an additional 20% of tuition fees will be reimbursed. In addition to obtaining the above qualifications and finding employment, if your wages after completing the training increase by 5% or more compared to your wages before starting the course, an additional 10% of the training expenses (up to 80,000 yen per year) will be reimbursed. This system is available to those who have been employed as an insured person for two or more years. For more information, please contact your local Hello Work office.

Voices of current students who re-enrolled

Regardless of age, whether you are a recent graduate or have already graduated, you can enjoy learning with classmates who share the same dreams for the future.

Department of Hairdesign & Makeup

Yumi Nakazawa

I wanted to work in the beauty industry, but because I would have had to pay for my tuition myself, I decided to get a job, save up money, and then go back to school. I wanted to become a hair and makeup artist, so I chose Department of Hairdesign & Makeup, but the appeal was that I could also obtain a cosmetology license. Also, by attending events and company information sessions, I was able to learn about many different jobs, and I am inspired every day by various things that will help me choose my future career.

Voices of graduates who re-entered

It's a wonderful job where you can make customers smile by doing fun things you love!

Department of Hairstylist (Hair Stylist Course)

Shion Hiraoka (Class of 2022)

I went to school every day and practiced a lot to master the basic techniques. Being a hairdresser is a tough job that requires early mornings and late nights, but I feel that it is a wonderful job where I can do more and more every day and make customers smile with my own hands. My goal is to one day open my own hair salon and make it the best salon in Japan.

She went back to school to pursue the job she truly wanted. Her dream is to fill the place with customers who make appointments by name!

Department of Total Beauty (Nail Art Course)

Misato Kudo (Class of 2024)

I dropped out of university and went back to school to become a manicurist. The beauty industry is a wonderful job where you can see customers' smiles every day. I participated in contests while I was still a student, and that experience was invaluable as it allowed me to gain some confidence in my skills while still a student. I'm also very happy to be able to do what I love as a job.

Voices of scholarship students who re-entered

I decided to go back to school to get a chance to pursue the career I wanted in the future. I was able to clearly communicate my aspirations and was accepted as a scholarship student.

(Special Scholarship Student) Aika Saito

The deciding factor for me to go back to school was that I was attracted to the fact that it is a vocational school with strong ties to various companies, and I thought that if I studied again here, it would increase my chances of getting the job I wanted. I also found out that I could apply for a scholarship admission system that would exempt part of the tuition fees, so before enrolling, I participated in an event held at the school and organized my thoughts about wanting to go back to school and the manners I should keep in mind during the interview, before taking the exam and was able to pass the scholarship.

I want to have a private consultation. I want to listen carefully. I'm worried about mixing with high school students. I want to go in between work or other plans.

For those who are thinking like this...

Because this is an important career choice, we want students to come and see what the school is like, and so Sanko Gakuen holds open campuses and individual consultation sessions for students returning to school.
