Entrance exams and tuition fees

Application period

There is a recruitment period, but will the program be closed midway once the maximum number of applicants is reached?
:

Applications are accepted, but may be closed once capacity is reached.

We recommend that you apply early.

About concurrent applications

Can I apply to a four-year university as well?
:

Yes you can.

There is a "University Dual Application System" for those who wish to apply to both a four-year university and our school. If you wish to use this system, please fill out the "Dual Application" section on the back of the admission application form. If you are accepted to a four-year university after the exam results are announced and wish to cancel your enrollment at our school, please contact our school by Tuesday, March 31, 2026. We recommend that you apply early.

Tuition Fees

Tuition fees from enrollment to graduation
:

It varies slightly depending on the department and course.

For 2-year programs

In the first year, admission fee + tuition fee + facility and equipment fee + textbook fee, etc.

In the second year, the fee will be the combined total of tuition fees, facility and equipment fees, textbook fees, etc.

For details, please see the courses and tuition fees.

Can I pay tuition fees in installments?
:

Of course you can.

Please deliver the first half of the course first, and then we will send you instructions for the second half of the course so that it arrives in time for delivery in July.

I am having difficulty paying my tuition fees...
:

Although there is a limit to the number of recommendations we can make, we can introduce you to the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) scholarship program.

We also have affiliated educational loan agreements with credit companies (Orient Corporation) and other institutions, so you can receive the necessary tuition loans with simple procedures.

Please see the Tuition Support Information page for further details.

Is overseas study included in the tuition fees?
:

Our school is only open to those who wish to participate.

Participation will incur a fee in addition to tuition fees.

Scholarships

Can I apply for a scholarship?
:

Don't worry. We will hold an information session in early April after you enroll.

However, you can be more certain if you apply for the "reserved scholarship program" while you are still in high school.

My high school has made a reservation for a scholarship, but what are the procedures after that?
:
For those who have already made a reservation at their high school, the procedure will be completed after you enroll in April, so please keep all documents you have on hand until April.

About scholarship students

Could you please tell me about the criteria for scholarship students?
:
Since the evaluation will include an interview, we cannot give you a clear set of criteria.
It seems there are scholarships from SS to C, but how are they divided?
:
There is an exam for scholarship students, and the decision is based on the results of a written exam and an interview. Since our school places great importance on individuality, the interview plays a major role in determining whether or not a student is accepted. *The AO scholarship exam is an interview only.
If I am not accepted in the scholarship exam, do I have to take the recommendation exam again?
:

This is not the case. The purpose of the scholarship exam is to determine whether or not a student is suitable to be a scholarship student.

If you are not accepted as a scholarship student, you can enroll as a recommended student with priority.

In this case, there will be no additional application fee and you will not be required to submit any additional documents.

Tuition support

Could you please tell me more about the scholarship program?
:

There are five entrance examination methods for the scholarship program, which waives part of tuition fees.

There are "AO scholarship students" who take the exam only through an interview, "Sanko Gakuen scholarship students" who are qualified to take the exam through a recommendation from their high school, "Challenge scholarship students" who are qualified to take the exam through self-recommendation, "High school graduate/working student scholarship students" for those who have already graduated from high school. "International student tuition reduction admission" is available for international students.

Those who are judged to meet certain standards as scholarship students of our school are divided into five categories: SS, S, A, B, and C, and are exempt from 1 million yen for up to two years. If you fail the scholarship exam, you can be reselected or given priority admission in another admission category, so in that case, there is no additional selection fee.

For more details, please come to the Entrance Exam Information Session.

What is the difference between Type 1, Type 2, and Grant-type scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization?
:

Category 1 scholarships are interest-free loans given to outstanding students who are experiencing extreme financial difficulties in continuing their studies.

Category 2 scholarships are loans with interest that are awarded to students selected based on more lenient criteria than Category 1 scholarships.

Also, a grant-type scholarship is a scholarship that is paid.

When applying, you can choose between a fixed interest rate or a variable interest rate.

When is the application period for the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) scholarship?
:

You can apply for loan-type scholarships either before or after enrollment. However, if you apply after enrollment, there is a limit to the number of students who can be accepted, so we recommend that you apply for a "reservation" scholarship (applying before enrollment) offered by your high school.

Reserved acceptance is a system in which you reserve a scholarship before enrolling. Please apply at the scholarship office of the high school you are currently attending (or attended) in the year before you plan to enter high school. You can apply even if you have not yet decided where you will go to high school.

In addition, even after enrollment, we will recruit scholarship students every spring. Those who were unfortunately not accepted can apply again.

For information about grant-type scholarships, please check with the high school you are attending (or were attending).

Please tell me about Sanko Gakuen's initial cost reduction and tuition installment plans.
:

This system is for those who are currently applying or plan to apply for the "Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Scholarship Program (100,000 yen or more) Pre-approval Selection" or those who have been accepted.

By using this system, you will only need to pay the "entrance fee + teaching materials, practical training fees, and other fees" before enrolling, and the remaining balance (tuition + facility and equipment fees) can be paid in monthly installments of 100,000 yen using a scholarship.

For more information, please see the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Scholarship Program page.

*Even if you have already applied for the "Second Scholarship (interest-bearing)" of 20,000 to 90,000 yen, you can still use this scholarship by changing the monthly loan amount to 100,000 yen or 120,000 yen when submitting your application to enroll at our school.

Can I pay tuition fees in installments?
:

The general rule is to pay in full at once, but it is possible to pay in two installments, one for the first term and one for the second term.

If you choose to pay in installments, the second semester tuition fee must be paid by the end of July. Tuition fees for the second year can also be paid in installments.

If you use Sanko Gakuen's initial cost reduction and tuition installment plan, you can pay in installments of 100,000 yen per month. This system is only available to a limited number of people, so for more information, please see the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) scholarship system page.

Can I still enroll even if I don't have a large amount of money at the moment?
:

You can enroll if you take out a national educational loan, Sanko Gakuen affiliated educational loan, or a loan from a variety of banks, and prepare the first year's payment.

Loan screening takes time, so if you are interested, please apply as soon as possible. There are also loans that can be used together with scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization.

For more information, please contact the relevant loan contact points.
