Should the photo attached to the application form be of me in my school uniform?
You can wear either your school uniform or casual clothes.
What kind of envelope should I use when mailing my application?
Any envelope large enough to fit the application form without folding is acceptable. Please send it by registered mail.
Can I bring the application form in person?
Yes, that's fine. Please bring it to the staff room on the 3rd floor of the main building (1-389-3 Sakuragi-cho, Omiya-ku, Saitama City) between 9:00 and 18:00 on weekdays, or on open campus days. *Please knock on the staff room door before entering.
My high school transcript won't be ready in time.
Please fill in the expected issuance date on the "High School Transcript (to be submitted later) Notification Form" that was sent along with the "AO Admission Certificate," and submit it together with your application form. Please mail or bring the transcript as soon as it is ready.
It looks like I won't make the deadline for submitting my application for the special scholarship entrance exam.
Applications must be received by the deadline. Please consider applying on the next application date or using an alternative application method.
Is it absolutely necessary to pay a 20,000 yen application fee?
If the application fee is not paid, your application will not be accepted and you will not be able to take the exam.
Can I make a bank transfer at a convenience store?
You can make a transfer at a convenience store ATM. *Transfers cannot be made at the cash register.
I made the transfer in the name of the parent/guardian.
Please write the transfer date and the name of the account holder on the bottom right of the back of the application form.
By when do I need to make the payment?
Please make the payment before submitting your application.
When will I know whether I passed or failed?
Documents will be sent out approximately one week after the exam.
When are tuition fees due?
We will send you a payment slip after the exam, and the deadline is approximately three weeks after we receive it.
What are the differences between the two systems?
Please refer to pages 7-8 of the admissions guide and application requirements.
Can these programs be used in combination?
You can apply, but you can only use one of the two options.
I missed the deadline for applying for the scholarship.
This program is unavailable because it requires prior application and acceptance by the high school.
