Comprehensive support system
Three reasons why it's a safe environment
We offer classes that start from the basics, and a learning environment where students from diverse backgrounds can consider their aptitudes and career paths while they study.
- 1.Support from three directions
- 2.Curriculum that emphasizes practical skills
- 3.You can choose what you "like" and master it.
Reason01: Support from three directions
At Tokyo Sweets & Cafe College, we have a support system in place where multiple faculty members watch over and support the growth of each individual student. Each student receives thorough support from three people: a homeroom teacher, a teacher in charge of practical training, and a teacher in charge of the area where they wish to work. Faculty members are always in close contact and share information. Because the faculty members know you on a daily basis, it is an environment where you can easily consult with them.
When you feel anxious or worried, a school counselor specializing in psychology will listen carefully to your concerns and help you think things through. Senior students, known as "orienters," also provide support with classes, practical training, and job hunting, so you can enjoy your student life with peace of mind.
Reason02: Curriculum that emphasizes practical skills
Unlike classroom-based curricula focused on certifications and qualifications, our curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning, ensuring everyone starts on the same footing. Through repeated practice, you'll hone your skills and develop a sense of aesthetics, learning everything from basic recipes to original creations.
Reason03: You can choose what you "like" and master it.
After building a solid foundation in their first year, students can choose courses that suit their interests from their second year onward.
Even if you haven't quite decided what you want to do yet, that's okay. We'll start by building a foundation, and through the lessons, you can discover your passions and strengths, and steadily work your way up to mastery.
Voices of seniors who graduated from correspondence high schools
A safe and secure environment is provided!
There are many teachers who are there to listen to my concerns and problems. The timetable is also easy for me to follow, so I think I can do my best until graduation! In the future, I want to work as a pastry chef at a wedding venue and make wedding cakes for my friends.
The school's warm and welcoming atmosphere is a major draw!
Because I had a period of not attending school, I had many anxieties, such as whether I would be able to attend every day and whether I would be able to make friends. However, thanks to the warm atmosphere created by the teachers and upperclassmen, I am able to enjoy my school life. This is a school where you can grow as a person!
The course is hands-on and focuses on developing practical skills!
I was worried before enrolling because the curriculum doesn't involve obtaining confectionery hygiene or chef licenses, but in reality, there are many companies that accept applications even without qualifications, and I was able to proceed with my job search without any problems. The best thing about this school is that they provide thorough support, from the smallest details of school life to job placement!
