Q: I am not sure which department to choose. Is it possible to change departments after enrollment?
A

It is possible to transfer from Department of Hairstylist or Department of Hairdesign & Makeup when advancing to the next grade. However, it is not possible to transfer to Department of Hairstylist or Department of Hairdesign & Makeup due to the number of hours designated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

Q: I want to become a hair and makeup artist. Should I go to Department of Hairstylist or Department of Total Beauty?
A

最近では眉カットでもハサミを使用しますし、美容師国家資格を取っている方が望ましいサロンが増えているので、美容科、ヘアメイク科がオススメです。
ヘアメイクだけでなく美容に関する幅広い知識を持ったヘアメイクアーティストになりたいならトータルビューティー科がオススメです!

Q: I want to go to Department of Total Beauty, but I'm not sure which course to take.

1年生の前期はコースを分けず全員同じ勉強をし、実際に各コースに分かれるのは1年生の後期からとなりますので、入学前に決まっていなくても大丈夫です。
前期のうちに、様々な授業を体験し、将来のために身につけたい知識・技術を選びましょう!

Q: I'm not sure which course to choose. When should I choose my course?

In both Department of Hairstylist and Department of Total Beauty first-year students are asked to take a survey in July. After enrolling, students can hear about the industry from seniors and take classes to decide!

Q: What about children with sensitive skin?
A

基本的には学校で使用している比較的肌にやさしい化粧品の教材のメーカーをお教えします。
それでも心配でしたら自分が使用している化粧品を持ってきても構いません。
先生にカウンセリングしてもらい相談しましょう!

Q: I'm clumsy, is that okay?
A

It's not a problem. Many students enroll with such worries, but most of them work hard and overcome them!

Q: What are the benefits of an accredited school?
A

Accredited schools are approved by the prefectures.

A

厚生労働大臣指定の美容師養成施設を卒業しなければ美容師国家試験の受験資格は得られません。
(受験資格が得られないと美容師にはなれません)
美容師養成施設には3タイプあります。

  • Intermediate course → 2 years of study
  • Evening course → 2 years of study
  • Correspondence course → 3 years of study
