Scholarship Admissions System

The scholarship admission system provides financial support for students who excel academically and as models for our school.
Sanko Gakuen has five types of scholarships, and if you pass the selection process and are accepted as a scholarship student, part of your tuition fees will be waived.

Types of scholarship programs and benefits

There are five types of scholarship students, and the amount of tuition exemption varies.

This is Sanko Gakuen's unique tuition support system, which utilizes the Japan Student Services Organization scholarship program (over 100,000 yen). The only cost required for enrollment is the 100,000 yen admission fee.
After that, you will be required to pay the "teaching materials, practical training fees, and other fees" by the end of March. Tuition and facility fees can be paid in monthly installments of 100,000 yen during your enrollment period using a "loan scholarship."

  • Cannot be used in conjunction with Sanko Gakuen Grant Scholarship & Tuition Payment System.

Application conditions

Prior to enrolling in our school, the student was selected as a candidate for the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) scholarship based on the following criteria:

"Type 2 Scholarship (interest-bearing)" of 100,000 yen or more per month

  • Those who have already applied for a "Type 2 Scholarship (interest-bearing)" of 20,000 to 90,000 yen can take advantage of Sanko Gakuen's initial cost reduction and tuition installment system by changing the monthly loan amount to 100,000 yen or more when submitting the admission notification after enrolling at our school.

A combination of "Type 1 Scholarship (interest-free)" and "Type 2 Scholarship (interest-bearing)" totaling more than 100,000 yen per month

  • Those who have graduated from high school or other such school within the past two years are eligible to apply for a reservation through the school they graduated from.

How to apply

  • Apply for a reserved scholarship from the Japan Student Services Organization at the high school or other institution where you are currently (or were) enrolled. (Please consult with the teacher in charge of scholarships at your high school or other institution.)
  • Please fill in the necessary information in the "Sanko GAKUEN Initial Cost Reduction & Tuition Installment System" application section and enclose a copy of the "Notice of Selection of Candidate" from the Japan Student Services Organization with your application.
    • If you are currently applying for a position, please submit a copy of the "Notice of Selection as a Candidate" as soon as you receive the results.

Sanko Gakuen Grant Scholarship & Tuition Payment System

Utilizing the "Grant Scholarship" and "Tuition Reduction" Systems For those who wish to use the grant scholarship to make payments after enrollment

  • The new system of support for higher education provides different amounts of support depending on household income and whether students commute from home or away from home.
    Please try calculating it on the official website of the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).

This is Sanko Gakuen's unique tuition support system that utilizes the Japan Student Services Organization's "grant scholarship" and "tuition reduction" systems.
The only fee required for enrollment is the enrollment fee of 100,000 yen. After that, you will be required to pay the course materials and other fees by the end of March.
Tuition fees + facility fees can be paid during your time at the university after you have applied for "grant scholarships" and "tuition fee reductions" after enrolling.

  • The 100,000 yen admission fee paid at the time of enrollment will be transferred to part of the tuition fees after the amount of tuition exemption is determined.
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with Sanko Gakuen's initial cost reduction and tuition installment system.
  • Depending on the category of your selection, you may be able to pay the difference with a Type 2 Loan Scholarship.
  • If you decide to decline admission for any reason, the admission fee of 100,000 yen paid at the time of admission procedures will not be refunded.

    • If you are currently applying for a position, please submit a copy of the "Notice of Selection as a Candidate" as soon as you receive the results.

Scholarships from associations, foundations, companies, and the government

This is a system that provides scholarships to students who are having difficulty studying due to financial reasons. Here are some examples. Income requirements and loan amounts vary depending on the type of school you are attending. For more information, please contact each institution.

Local government scholarships

There are many scholarship programs set up by municipalities for people living in their area. Here are some of them. Scholarship conditions vary depending on the municipality, so please contact your local municipality for details. (As of July 2025)

Various support scholarship systems

Scholarship for students living alone

The Single Living Scholarship Program is a scholarship program for students who live alone and want to focus on their studies.

Dormitory Scholarship Program (For those who wish to live alone in a dormitory)

This is a system that provides a partial exemption from dormitory fees to students who wish to live in the student dormitory with meals provided, and who, after a selection process, are found to be able to behave in an exemplary manner as a dormitory resident.

Eligibility

Those who are taking the entrance exam for our school under the AO admission scholarship program (first round) and who wish to move into the designated dormitories or student apartments.

  • It is possible to use both the dormitory scholarship system and the special scholarship system at the same time.
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with the Student Apartment Scholarship Program.
  • You cannot leave the dormitory during the one-year contract period (you can renew it during your studies).

・You will be expected to live as a model student (motivated to study, greet each other every day, follow the rules, etc.) and cooperate with dormitory tours and various events.

Student Apartment Scholarship Program (For those who wish to live alone in a student apartment)

This is a system in which individuals who wish to live in student apartments affiliated with our school and who, after a selection process, are found to be able to behave in an exemplary manner as students will be exempt from paying the deposit, key money, brokerage fees, etc. (which vary depending on the property) at the time of moving in.

Eligibility

Those who are taking the entrance exam for our school under the AO admission scholarship program (first round) and who wish to move into the designated dormitories or student apartments.

  • It is possible to use both the Student Apartment Scholarship Program and the Special Scholarship Program at the same time.
  • This cannot be used in conjunction with the dormitory scholarship program.
  • You cannot leave the dormitory during the one-year contract period (you can renew it during your studies).

- Someone who can live as a model student (motivation to study, daily greetings, following the rules, etc.).

Japan Education Create Sanko Welfare College Scholarship Program (for Department of Care Worker)

This is a system to support students who are planning to enroll in our Department of Care Worker but are having difficulty studying for financial reasons by reducing their financial burden through a full exemption from tuition fees (entrance fee, tuition, and facility and equipment fees).

Eligibility

Applicants who meet our school's application criteria and all of the following conditions must be satisfied.

  1. ①This offer is limited to those taking the September AO Scholarship Entrance (First Round) (Sunday, September 14th).
  2. ②Those who have this school as their first choice.
  3. ③ Those with a household income (before tax) of 4 million yen or less (approximate).

Or those who have experienced a sudden change in their household finances due to the household breadwinner going bankrupt or losing their job.

Sanko Gakuen Family Scholarship Program

This is a unique system of our university that provides a 50,000 yen grant after enrollment if a relative within the second degree of kinship is a graduate or current student of Sanko Gakuen.

  • This applies to any of Sanko Gakuen's vocational schools, universities, junior colleges, or high schools.
  • The application procedure for the grant will be explained after enrollment. Please contact the school staff for details.

The "National Education Loan" is a long-term, fixed-interest education loan offered by the Japan Finance Corporation, a government-affiliated financial institution.
