I want you to enjoy Spanish food in the Spanish way

Cod is a typical ingredient in Spanish cuisine. Hakodate, which was once a rich cod fishing ground, exported large quantities of cod to the Basque region of Spain. It could be said that Hakodate supported Spanish cuisine through cod. Just like the former Fukaya Rice Store, which was beloved by the people of Hakodate, we sincerely hope that the bar restaurant "La Concha" will be loved by the people of Hakodate and those who visit Hakodate.
Please enjoy the exquisite cuisine, carefully prepared by our chefs, and the wide variety of alcoholic beverages that can only be found here.

Close up!LA CONCHA

"Taking care of an old building means making the best use of it." Inside La Concha, you can still feel the charm of the time when it flourished as a rice store. Enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine in a traditional building.

A dream that could only be realized at Tsuji Gakuen

What is your most memorable experience during your time at Tsuji Gakuen?

While I was in school, I was able to experience a variety of jobs through school introductions and other means. I was able to learn a lot about customer service and cooking at an izakaya, a Western restaurant, a fish shop, and a bar. Those experiences are useful in my current job, interacting with people and cooking.

Please tell us an episode that made you glad to be a graduate of Tsuji Gakuen.

At Tsuji Gakuen, I was able to learn the basics of cooking in general, including Western, Japanese, Chinese, and confectionery. Now I prepare meals, dishes, and desserts, so it was great.

A message to high school students aiming to work in the cooking and confectionery fields

Study hard at Tsuji Gakuen to improve your manners and culinary skills, and visit many restaurants. I think seeing the real world will help you visualize your future. Good luck!!
