SANKO Japanese Language School Ayase has 3 courses: 1 year course, 1.5 year course, and 2 year course. Each consists of the following course curriculum and timetable.

  • Students will learn basic sentencepatterns and grammar to acquire theability to converse in everyday life.

(Intermediate) JLPT: N3–N2

  • Students will practice to gain mastery ofthe sentence patterns and grammarlearned in the Beginner course, withthe aim of reading long sentencesand engaging in long conversations.
  • Passing Level N2 of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test is a goal.
10–12 Intermediate B 200 hours

  • Students will aim to obtain necessaryinformation in Japanese from mediasuch as newspapers and television,and to read specialized books.
  • Students will learn skills needed for essaysand discussion, making use of thevocabulary and expressions they have mastered.
  • Passing Level N1 of the Japanese-LanguageProficiency Test is a goal.
  • Students will select and learn Japaneseexpressions suited to their academicand career path.
